Initialization step to access the central hub of settings

  • Launch the application. Navigate to the main menu.
  • Select the "Settings" option. Choose "Manage Apps".

Identification of the specific plugin of MFA setup

On the left-side dashboard locate and click on the "Kepler Multi-Factor Authentication Plugin".

You're directed to the "General Configuration" section of the MFA plugin.

Ensure you installed the MFA plugin.
Detailed input phase, ensuring the right settings for the MFA function
  • For User Groups, input the designated user categories or groups.
  • Set the desired number of Authentication Attempts.
  • Craft a clear HTML Email Template for MFA prompts.

The correct user groups are targeted, a secure number of authentication attempts are set, and an actionable email template is ready for use.

When designing the email template, always include ##username## and ##code##. It's crucial for the functionality and clarity of the authentication process.
The concluding phase, solidifying all prior configurationsReview all previously inputted details for accuracy. Click the "Save" button.The MFA setup is complete, and the system is ready to implement enhanced security measures.Always double-check configurations before saving. Any overlooked detail could impact the functionality of the MFA process.
